You can enjoy year-round comfort thanks to the central air conditioning and ceiling fans located throughout the space.
The spacious layout includes an inviting bedroom with captivating ocean views. The room is furnished with a California King-size bed, dresser, nightstands complete with USB chargers, a cable TV, and a ceiling fan. You’ll also find sliding door access to the lanai, along with a digital safe for storing your valuables.
Step into the bathroom, which offers convenient access from either the bedroom or the living area. It features a walk-in shower, an updated single sink vanity, fresh towels, and luxury organic bath products courtesy of Stay Aloha.
The common area presents an open floor plan that seamlessly connects the dining space with the fully stocked kitchen. Gather around the dining table for four or relax on the pull-out queen sofa sleeper while watching your favorite shows on the Smart TV with cable. Additional beach gear, including chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler, can be found in the closet, enhancing your beach days. Plus, you'll be welcomed with a starter kit filled with essential items such as laundry supplies, luxury organic bath products, and kitchen necessities upon arrival.
Please note that there is currently construction taking place for stucco repair on the building. However, it will not disrupt the amenities like the pool, fitness center, lobby, elevators, and more.
The Royal Kahana resort features fantastic amenities such as a beachfront swimming pool, BBQ area, an on-site fitness room, ping pong table, shuffleboard, and an Activities Center/Concierge. Located just across the street, you will find the Kahana Gateway Center, a small shopping area with restaurants, including the popular Maui Brewing Company. Other conveniences such as McDonald's, Whaler’s convenience store, a gas station, coffee shop, souvenir store, and ATMs are also available within the center.
For parking, while we do not charge a resort fee like many others on Maui, please note that a parking fee will be collected upon check-in at the resort. The rates are as follows:
- $18.00 per day plus taxes for the first 30 days
- $10.00 per day plus taxes for stays of 31 days or more
Additionally, there is a $50 Damage Insurance Fee that covers up to $1500 in potential damages, ensuring peace of mind during your stay.
Beach enthusiasts should be aware that the beach in front of the Royal Kahana can undergo seasonal changes due to ocean currents, affecting its appearance and accessibility. While direct beach access may be limited during fall and winter months, a public beach access point is just a five-minute walk away. Photos from early January 2023 show usable beach conditions, though this may vary.
Due to Maui's lush, rural environment, occasional visits from roosters and geckos are possible. These friendly geckos help control insects and are considered good luck. While the HOA performs regular pest control services, total elimination of all pests cannot be guaranteed. Our units are thoroughly cleaned and inspected, but any interaction with local wildlife does not violate your rental agreement and does not warrant a refund or adjustment.
We strive to ensure that your stay is peaceful; however, we cannot guarantee that surrounding properties will be free from disturbances such as noise or construction work. Such occurrences will not affect your rental agreement or provide grounds for refunds or adjustments.
